I certainly wasn't looking for any smart ass from you, but as long as you feel compelled to throw some my way, let's chat. You've got some great dyno numbers Pete, but just b/c your car didn't make that power at that boost level is certainly no reason to say it can't be done. I'd wager that if you saw a Z put down that power at 17 psi with a similar setup as yours, you would be pissed. That's ridiculous to get so personally caught up like that; it's a freakin' car and you certainly are not the end all be all of Z's, so give it a rest. I for one can buy the SGP dyno numbers. Why??? Because of my own personal experiences with my own car. I had a shop here in Austin build it, and it was their first attempt at a Z car. The car would hardly idle, two cylinders ended up being overbored (compression around 100), and it put down 497.9 rwhp and 432.1 rwtq at 17 psi on a 100 degree June day here in Austin, Texas. Air fuel was below 10:1 from 5,700 rpm on up; quite rich. Do I think it is plausible that on a 70 degree day with a healthy motor, 11.5 air fuel, and some cam gears for some fine tuning that 520-540 rwhp is achievable? Absolutely I do. If you have anymore of your out of left field comments you'd like to share with me, feel free to e-mail me personally or we can chat on the phone. Regards, Bryan
